Two arts and wellbeing projects inspired by the 'Five Ways To Wellbeing'
During the summer of 2018 , Diana Shepherd delivered two projects in the rEvive shop, part of the 'arts in empty shops' programme of events.
Once a week we walked to West Park and took inspiration from both the natural environment and each other. We then used the shop as an open studio to continue experimenting with materials.
Fill Your Jar
We thought about how we were fitting the 'Five Ways' into our own lives. Using the shape of a jar to represent ourselves we were encouraged to think about taking care of ourselves in a more creative and engaging way.
Diana is the lead artist for Arts and Wellbeing Organisation 'All Being Well' and was funded by Erewash Borough Council, Derbyshire County Council and Erewash CVS.
Join representatives from the Nottingham Model Railway Society to see a 1930s model of Ilkeston Town Railway Station by Davey Jones and Dave Jaques. A model layout of Toton Sidings will also be on display.
