"The Peg People” is the second children’s picture book entirely written, illustrated and designed by Kerry. It is partly based on her own experiences and partly inspired by family and friends. The exhibition shows original images from her story which follows an imaginative little girl as she encounters her first day at school. Themes of anxiety, creativity and friendship run through the book and will hopefully inspire young readers to feel a little less worried about their fears.
