George Bissil was sent down the mines at Langley Mill at the age of 13. He ended his career at the height of Parisian artistic scene. This exhibition follows his fascinating career, with works from Erewash Museum and private collections, including the original miners' paintings, woodcuts, sketches and the canvas of the lost Heanor School mural.
