There's so much going on this December we can't wait to share it with you. Our popular Santa's grotto is hosting St. Nick on 11th and 18th of December. Book in advance so you don't miss your space! Also for the toddlers we have Story Time with Mrs Claus every Friday, 3rd, 10th and 17th. Bring your jingle bells as we'll be singing along! Come to our community Christmas Markter on 4th December to showcase some of the best things Erewash has to offer! Fun community groups display their hard work, shop local with our local stores and crafters. All...

Project D, the crazy popular loaded doughtnuts are coming on Thursday. We're also having a super hero disco party that day, but we'll let anyone come to grab some doughnuts, while there's some left, that is! We're getting jittery, no pun intended, for The Festival Swing Dance Society and our other 1940s friends coming back to the museum. Normally we hold our annual event on Armed Forces Day, but thought we'd try and host one this year!  25th September 11am-3pm. Free entry.  We're planning on listening to nostalgic songs from the swing-time era with the amazing Annie Andrews. There will be loads of vintage vehicles, great artefacts and replicas from our Home Front heroes. There's a display of knitted comforts for troops too! Take your chance to buy some vintage fashions and browse vintage displays. Although it is great fun...

Exciting news. We're open again from Tuesday 18th May! It was such as a good feeling opening our doors again.  For now we just wanted to tell you about how things are here. We’ll review these procedures as we go along to make sure they are working and welcome any feedback. We are COVID secure and we have made a few changes to keep us and you safe. We deep clean every morning and clean high-touch areas like the toilets, the bannisters, the door handles and counters regularly throughout the day. There are hand sanitizing stations at every door and outside the toilets for you...
